Full Sail Leadership Experience
Put your team on the water. Watch them become one crew.
Full Sail Leadership builds trust, communication, and steady-handed leadership through hands-on workshops: half in the classroom, half under sail. Powered by Leaders Rising Network.
Let’s TalkDisengagement rarely announces itself.
It shows up as quiet meetings, projects that stall without anyone saying why, and your best people doing what the job requires and nothing more.
Most teams have heard the content. They do not need another seminar. What they have not had is a shared moment of real pressure, where communication either works or it does not. On the water, there is no ambiguity about which.

Experiential Team Building and Leadership Workshops on the Water
A day on the water changes how a team works on land.
Every Full Sail workshop runs in three parts.
The Classroom
Facilitated sessions on trust, communication, and accountability. Your team builds a shared language for how they work together, including how they handle conflict, feedback, and pressure.
The Water
Then the team sails. On a boat, every role matters, conditions change without warning, and honest communication stops being a poster on the wall. The crew that docks is not the team that boarded.
The Plan
Before anyone goes home, the team turns the day into an action plan with specific, accountable goals. The lessons leave the harbor with them.

No sailing experience needed. Team members who prefer to stay on shore get land-based sessions tied to the same lessons, so everyone docks with the same takeaways.
Your day on the water is led by Tim Dittloff, an experienced sailing captain and leadership developer. He connects what happens on the boat to how your team leads on land.
Let’s TalkThe Method: The SEAsoning Effect
Strong leaders are seasoned by experience. Full Sail’s SEAsoning Effect develops the three things every leader needs under pressure:
Skills
Practical tools for communication, decision-making, and motivation.
Experience
Real application in environments where the stakes are felt, not simulated.
Authentic Attitudes
The humility, resilience, and stewardship that make people want to follow you.
Leadership practiced in the open, where the team can see it.
Who It’s For
Built for teams that have to trust each other.
Full Sail works with senior leadership groups, midlevel managers, and emerging leaders across industries: construction, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofits, and more.
Half-day and full-day workshops
Classroom plus a sailing capstone on the water.
One- to two-day leadership intensives
Communication, trust, and alignment.
Coaching partnerships
Ongoing development that sustains the change.
On-site sessions
Classroom modules at your office or via Zoom.
The sweet spot is 12 to 18 people. Larger groups can be accommodated; teams as large as 90 have sailed with Full Sail.
Powered by Leaders Rising Network
The day on the water is real, and your team will not forget it. What makes it last is the system behind it. The frameworks your team practices on the boat are LRN’s, and they carry the experience past the dock into how your team leads in the weeks and months after.
Inside an LRN engagement, the day becomes a capstone: at the start, to surface how your team really communicates before the work begins; in the middle, to pressure-test what they are learning; or at the end, to lock in a season of growth with a day nobody forgets.
On the water, those frameworks stop being diagrams. 5 Voices (powered by GiANT) shows up in who speaks and who goes quiet when the wind shifts. The Growth Pathway shows up in who takes the helm.
The boat tells the truth.
The Outcomes:What Your Team Walks Away With
A day on the water sends your team home with three things they did not arrive with: a shared language for communication and accountability, stronger trust across the team, and an action plan with specific goals they own.
The case for engaged teams is not subtle.

Proof: What Teams Say After They Dock
Tim has a unique ability to juxtapose leadership principles with sailing, making for an engaging and frankly delightful way of self reflection and learning.
We got to see the importance of shared language among a team first hand. We are looking forward to taking action in our company based on the content from our day at Full Sail.
They are truly making the world a better place by making workplaces better.
